Remembering Donna Keefe

The Arizona ASTA Chapter loses a dear friend and daughter of one of our long-time board members.

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Donna (Fulton) Keefe, 69, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend, who passed away on May 19, 2025, in Gilbert, Arizona. Donna lived a life marked by courage, compassion, and a deep love of adventure.

Donna was known for her warmth and generosity, her incredible strength (a true warrior), and unwavering determination. She faced every challenge with grace and resilience, never backing down from the obstacles placed before her. Her willingness to live fully and fight fiercely was an inspiration to everyone who knew her.

After a long career with the City of Scottsdale, she worked beside her mom, Pat Fulton, and dad, Jack Fulton, at Departures Travel for over 30 years. She had a passion for travel—especially cruising. The open sea brought her joy, peace, and freedom. Whether discovering new places or reminiscing about her journeys, Donna’s adventurous spirit always shone brightly.

She was preceded in death by her loving parents, Jack and Patricia. She is survived by her devoted sisters—Denise, Darlene, and Dina—as well as her cherished nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, all of whom she loved dearly and who will carry her strength and memory forward.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor Donna’s remarkable life and legacy.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to the Lung Transplant Service Organization, a cause close to her heart/lungs.

Donna will be remembered for her kindness, strength, willingness to volunteer for our ASTA chapter, and the indelible mark she left on all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered—always.
