This February 2017, Pat Fulton, Arizona ASTA Chapter Secretary provided a much appreciated donation to Robert Sanders, Regional Director of the Lutheran Social Services of the Southwest.
The contribution is to be used to support the Interfaith Homeless Emergency Lodging Program (I-HELP).
I-HELP provides shelter for us to 25 women per night, 365 days per year. Women supported would be on the streets in danger if it were not for this program.
The funds will assist with much needed gas and maintenance costs for the van that is used to transport the ladies to and from the shelter locations, as well as arrangements for those working or seeking employment.
